floor HEATING

This most-comfortable type of heating is gaining popularity among new custom homes in Southern California... and is easy to solar heat. However, the cost effectiveness of solar heating a floor very much depends on whether there is anything to heat with these collectors during the non-heating months of the year!

We do have an ideal configuration for homes that will have radiant floor heating and a swimming pool, desiring to swim in the spring, summer and fall. Then the same collector area can do triple duty, providing hot water, radiant and pool heating. This same concept can be applied to regular forced-air heating with a radiator-like device installed in the ductwork.

For new construction, we are now capable of providing the radiant floor heating system also, along with the back-up radiant heating system... or we can work with your radiant contractor. Every home is different, and have the experience necessary to make the whole hybrid system efficient and practical.
