POOL HEATING
Solar pool heating has always been the fastest payback in solar: between 4 and 6 years. There is also a wide diversity in materials and quality, ranging from rubber, to plastic, to copper. Rubber is generally the lowest quality, but its amorphous nature might make it usable in otherwise impossible situations. Plastic is the most common, but is ugly and has medium life span. Copper is the most expensive, looks the best and lasts the longest. There are also glass-covered copper panels, best in coastal areas or for all-year swimming. We are one of the only companies truly expert at these ultra high-quality glazed systems.
Even among plastic panels, there are significant differences in product AND INSTALLATION. Many plastic dealers cut corners, resulting in decreased roof and panel life. With All Valley Solar, you can be assured of quality installation techniques for whichever product you choose. We are NOT a franchise, and are not tied to any particular brand.
Solar pool panels usually equal 60 to 100% of the pool's surface area. The filter pump moves the pool water on a detour through the black solar panels to pick up the solar heat whenever the panels are warmer than the pool. When the panels are cooler than the pool OR when the pool has reached your maximum desired pool temperature, the panels are automatically bypassed by the digital controller. Whenever the pool pump is off, the water in the panels drains back into the pool, preventing freeze damage or overheating.
